Tiny Saver is a "faceless background application". If you already ran it (just didn't listen did you) you might have thought it didn't do anything, but it did and is probably still running. Please read the docs for details (they aren't that long, really).
Here are the highlights:
Moving the mouse to the upper left hand corner to save the screen. Hold down the shift key while moving it to that corner to configure it.
